Digital marketing professionals who are carrying out search engine optimisation (SEO) campaigns have been advised to make sure that they are using keywords that internet users actually search for.

According to Bas van den Beld of Search Engine Watch, it is a "huge issue" for marketers to make sure they are using the correct keywords to attract the right visitors to a website.

He added that for many businesses, bringing in a digital marketing agency can be a good way to ensure SEO is well managed.

"Site owners must make sure to get the right people to do the right jobs," he commented.

"A professional SEO or a professional technician can make all the difference when it comes to ranking."

Mr van den Beld explained that many site owners try and take on too much, running the SEO for the website, as well as producing content for it and managing the technical side.

He said site owners should have high standards in order to achieve the best results possible.

Employing a digital marketing agency may also be a good idea for site owners, according to search expert Stephan Spencer.

In an article for Search Engine Land, he stated that SEO campaigns are never finished as they are ongoing. ADNFCR-2033-ID-19769265-ADNFCR
