As mobile advertising begins to play a larger role in the world of digital marketing strategies, a search expert has given advice as to how best to use the method.
According to Parks Blackwell, senior client development manager at Range Online Media, mobile advertising has arrived.
She said digital marketing professionals could get ahead of their rivals by utilising mobile advertising before the rest of the field catches on to how effective it can be.
In an article for Search Engine Watch, she explained: "Given that the transition for advertisers from online to mobile search is still in its infancy, there are massive benefits for early adopters."
She added that although consumers have so far been slow to adapt to mobile advertising, there are still chances for digital marketing professionals to use the tactic in their strategies.
"Take advantage of the opportunities while they still exist and leave the major overarching analysis for a later date," she commented.
The future of pay-per-click (PPC) advertising could be in mobile, it has been stated.
Jason Murphy, director of search marketing at LeadFlash.com, said in a post for Search Engine Journal that PPC buyers need to ensure they are considering the impact of their advertisements on mobile users.
